
Theodora Catharina (Charine) van Tilborg is born in July 1987. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Utrecht in 2011. In 2012 she started working as a fertility physician and simultaneously started her PhD program (UMC Utrecht). Her research focused on: 1) BRCA genes and ovarian reserve, 2) individualized FSH dosing in IVF. In June 2017 she obtained her PhD at the University Utrecht (thesis title: Ovarian Reserve Testing; from BRCA mutations to individualized dosing). In 2017 she worked at the department of Genetics at the UMC Utrecht. In 2018 Charine returned to the department of reproductive medicine at the UMC Utrecht and started working as a fertility physician with special interest in PGD. Since December 2018 she was appointed as medical coordinator PGD UMCU. Charine is involved in research projects on individualized FSH dosing and ovarian reserve status in BRCA mutation carriers.
